GIZMO SynFauxNY (a.k.a. GIZMO) is an electro-classical synth-keyboard ensemble made up of myself and two other keyboard players.

    We all control a total of 15 synthesizers; I control 7 synths, Keyboard II and Keyboard III each control 4 synths.
    We occasionally add vocals and/or percussion/drums. Various keyboard friends of mine have played with me from the late-'80's.
    It's a lot of fun. Playing the notes isn't usually too difficult, but picking sounds, getting overall blended volume balances and ensemble feel
    while achieving an 'acoustic' sound amongst all of the synths is all the hard work!

    The MIDI OUT of the Alesis QS-8.1 Master Keyboard is connected to all MIDI IN's
of all the 5 slave synth modules and back into itself.
The Alesis QS-8.1 Master Keyboard is set to transmit on the same MIDI Channel(s)
that of all the 4 slave synth modules are set to. (in our case, MIDI Channels 12)
